Ushering in a new generation of business management software
Stop renting software.
Start owning it.
You use 20% of your SaaS tools' functionality but pay for 100%. Sybre is a locally-hosted platform with AI built into its core — software that can read its own code, improve itself, and evolve as AI does. Your data, your infrastructure, your decisions. An entirely new class of software.
The SaaS trap is expensive and getting worse
How many SaaS subscriptions are you paying for right now?
Ad management here. Inventory there. Accounting somewhere else. Each one $50-500/month, and the list only ever grows.
One platform. Your platform.
Every tool built into a single system you own. Add what you need, skip what you don't. No more juggling logins.
How much of those tools do you actually use?
You use a fraction of what they offer. You pay for all of it. And there's no "just the parts I need" plan.
Use every feature you build.
Because you built it for your business — not for a thousand businesses that aren't yours. No bloat. No waste.
How much are you spending across all of them?
Add it up. Ad tools, inventory, accounting, listings, shipping, analytics. It's more than you think — and it grows every year.
No per-seat fees. No monthly subscriptions.
Sybre runs on your hardware. The only ongoing costs are the infrastructure you'd be paying for anyway.
How much of it do you actually own?
Cancel any of them tomorrow. Your data, your workflows, your customizations — gone. You were renting the whole time.
Everything stays. Because it's yours.
Your data, your code, your infrastructure. Stop using a tool and everything you built with it remains.
What if AI could build exactly what you need?
Sybre is a business management platform designed from the ground up for AI-assisted development. The scaffolding is ready — navigation, notifications, scheduling, credential management, database tools — so AI agents can start building your custom tools immediately.
No spending a year on infrastructure. No waiting for a vendor's roadmap. Bring your existing Excel tools, databases, and scripts. AI refactors and integrates them into a cohesive system. Migrate at your own pace.
That complex Excel model that takes days to debug? Ask AI. Fix back in minutes. That's the daily reality of AI-assisted development.
Your Data
Hosted locally. No vendor lock-in. No surprise price hikes. No third party mining your business data.
Your Infrastructure
You own every line of code. Customize anything. As AI advances, your platform advances with it.
Your Decisions
Pay only for what you need. Add components from the marketplace or build your own. No bloat.
Why not just use what's already out there?
We looked at every option. Here's what we found.
Teikametrics, Helium10, ShipStation, ChannelAdvisor, Zapier, QuickBooks Online...
- $50–500/month each, adding up to $2,000–10,000+/month
- Your data is locked in each vendor's silo
- Cancel and everything you built disappears
- Per-seat pricing penalizes growth
Odoo, NetSuite, SAP Business One...
- $20,000–200,000+ to implement
- Need consultants at $50–150/hr for customization
- No Amazon advertising tools at any price
- Community editions deliberately limited to push paid tiers
Replit, Base44, Bolt, Lovable, Google AI Studio...
- Cloud-dependent — your app lives on their servers
- 40–62% of AI-generated code has security flaws
- No background processing, task queues, or pipelines
- Google already sunsetting Firebase Studio after one year
Self-hosted framework designed for AI-assisted customization.
- One-time hardware cost, no recurring fees
- Your data on your machine, permanently
- AI builds on a proven architecture, not from scratch
- Amazon ad optimization, marketplace APIs, and shipping built in
"Doesn't AI-built software have scaling problems?"
Yes — if you're building SaaS for thousands of users across the globe. Database sharding, cross-continent WebSocket routing, load balancing for millions of concurrent connections — these are genuinely hard problems. Engineers who solve them command $300–500K salaries because the work is real and complex.
Sybre doesn't have any of those problems. By design.
Each Sybre instance serves one business. One database. A handful of users on one network. The distributed systems engineering that makes or breaks SaaS companies simply doesn't apply when the software runs on your hardware for your team.
The things AI is great at building — business logic, user interfaces, API integrations, database operations — are exactly what a self-hosted business tool needs. Vibe coding's weakness is scale. Sybre's architecture eliminates scale as a concern entirely.
Traditional SaaS
One app serving thousands of businesses
- Database sharding across regions
- WebSocket routing for thousands of connections
- Load balancing and failover
- Multi-tenant data isolation
- Zero-downtime deployments
- Global CDN and edge computing
Sybre
Your app serving your business
- One database on one machine
- A few connections on your local network
- One server, one team
- Your data is already isolated — it's yours
- Restart when it's convenient for you
- No internet dependency to operate
Every SaaS company spends 50–80% of engineering effort on infrastructure at scale — not features. That's what justifies the $50–500/month subscription: you're paying for their DevOps team, their global CDN, their 99.99% uptime SLA. Sybre eliminates that entire cost layer. 100% of development goes into the business logic that actually matters to you.
And the "scale" problem? It's already solved — at the architecture level. Each customer is a completely independent deployment. Adding a new customer adds zero load to any existing instance. This is distributed computing by default: every business is the infrastructure.
A new class of software
Software that improves itself from within
Traditional software is inert — it runs, and humans modify it from the outside. Sybre is different. The AI agents that build your tools can also read the running system, understand how it works, and make it better — because the source is open and the system is yours.
Observe
AI reads the source code, queries the database, checks logs — it sees the full picture, not just an API surface.
Reason
It identifies why a calculation is wrong, where a feature is missing, or how a process could be faster.
Act
It modifies the code, restarts the service, and deploys the fix — on your machine, in minutes.
Verify
It confirms the change worked — runs the query, checks the output, validates the fix is live.
Why this only works with open source
Closed-source software is a black box. No AI — no matter how intelligent — can understand, trace, or fix code it can't see. SaaS vendors hide their source code because their business model depends on it. That's a structural ceiling on what AI can do with their products — forever.
Open source removes that ceiling entirely. AI can read every line, understand every decision, and improve anything. Self-hosting means the changes go live immediately — no deployment queue, no vendor roadmap, no waiting.
The compounding advantage
Every improvement the AI makes is permanent. And every improvement makes the next one faster. The system accumulates better patterns, better error handling, better logic — and AI reads the whole codebase fresh every time. No context lost. No institutional knowledge decay.
As AI gets smarter, your software gets smarter with it. Not because a vendor pushed an update — because the AI already embedded in your system just became more capable.
Built by Amazon sellers, for Amazon sellers
Sybre started because we were tired of paying $100,000+ per year for tools that each solved one piece of the puzzle. Ad management here. Inventory there. Accounting somewhere else. None of them talked to each other.
So we built one platform that handles everything — and made it available as a framework so other sellers can do the same. Start with the tools that cost you the most, add more as you go.

Bring what you have
Excel tools, databases, Python scripts, CSV workflows — whatever runs your business today.
AI refactors & integrates
AI agents analyze your existing tools, optimize them, and build them into the Sybre platform.
Cancel the SaaS
As each tool migrates, drop the subscription. Keep your data. Keep your workflows. Save the money.
The Sybre Marketplace
Don't want to build everything yourself? You don't have to. The marketplace lets you install components other Sybre users have already built — and sell what you've built to others.
Install what you need
Browse free and paid components built by other Sybre users. An HVAC company built a dispatch scheduler? Install it. A seller built an inventory forecaster? One click. Skip the development and get straight to using it.
Sell what you've built
Built something great for your business? Package it as a component and offer it to other Sybre users — free or paid. Your domain expertise becomes a revenue stream. The HVAC guy sells to other HVAC companies. The Amazon seller sells to other Amazon sellers.
The platform gets better for everyone
Every component someone builds and shares makes Sybre more powerful for the whole community. More users means more components. More components means less you need to build yourself. The ecosystem compounds over time.
How it works in practice
Imagine an HVAC business owner sets up Sybre and builds out job scheduling, technician dispatch, parts inventory, and customer invoicing — all with AI assistance, tailored to how HVAC businesses actually work. They use it daily to run their own company. Then they list those components on the marketplace. Another HVAC owner who doesn't want to build from scratch installs the whole pack for a modest fee and is up and running immediately — with tools built by someone who actually understands the industry, not a generic SaaS company that serves a thousand different verticals poorly.
Become the leader of your niche
This is bigger than sharing a few components. The first person in any industry to build out a comprehensive Sybre toolkit for that niche has the opportunity to become its go-to provider — almost like a franchise model. An HVAC expert builds the definitive HVAC management suite. A property manager builds the definitive rental management suite. A restaurant owner builds the definitive kitchen operations suite.
Each becomes the domain authority for their industry on the Sybre marketplace. They know the pain points because they live them. They maintain and improve the components because they use them daily. And every new business in that niche that adopts Sybre comes to them first — because why build from scratch when an industry expert already built exactly what you need?
That's a real business on top of your real business. Your operational expertise becomes a product — and you didn't need to become a software company to make it happen.
Where we are today
We've implemented a staged, free marketplace pilot with a browsable catalog, component packaging, publisher workflows, and update and removal support. The catalog and developer guides explain what's supported and how to prepare a contribution. Authenticated installation and publication journeys, and public deployment, still need verification before launch. Global account registration and paid checkout remain future work.
